Bob Ellis Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 I just put together a brand new PL 1964 GTO convertible. No Glass or convertible boot. Kit was sealed. Anybody have this problem too??
Bob Ellis Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 I put the kit together but it had a funny stance. Parts fit reminded me of some of the terrible kits of the late 60s early 70s. Definitely not a snap kit. While building you have to re-engineer the whole kit
Bob Ellis Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 It sits very crooked and too high. The blue is AMT 1964 LeMans
Snake45 Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I've decided to make that too-high stance work for me. Gonna do mine as a late-'60s/early-'70s midnight street racer, probably with a tunnel-rammed BBC. Thinking of de-scooping the hood and turning it back into a (cheaper) LeMans, too. Should be a fun project. But I MUST fix that roof!
Bob Ellis Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 Snake, maybe you are correct. AIt is what it is. so we deal with it
