bubbaman Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 hobby linc has a 2012 corvette for $ 8.00 shipping will put you at $17.oo - with the 40% off at H.L. - H.L. will be cheaper if they have the car you want -
mikemodeler Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Is that a glue kit or snap kit?If you are looking for Japanese kits, Hobbylinc is the place to go. If you are looking for domestic kits, there are plenty of sources here in the states to find what you want at a good price.
Aaronw Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 When buying online it is often a better deal to buy in bulk. I bet if you check shipping goes up very little for a second or third kit. $9 for one becomes $5 or $6 for 2 and probably $4 for 3. Many offer free shipping if your purchase goes over a certain threshold. Mike I think he is talking about Hobbylinc in the USA not Hobbylink Japan.
Nacho Z Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Just to clarify...Hobbylinc is in the States, Hobby Link Japan is a great source for Japanese kits.

Aaron, we must have been answering at the same time.
o-man Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 If its the showroom edition, check to see if there's an Ollies near you. Its been on their model clearance for $8.
Aaronw Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 To expand on the shipping thing I just put 3 random car kits into my shopping cart. Shipping on 1 kit was 7.27, 2 kits 8.06 and 3 kits 9.60. So if you divide by the number of kits shipping drops from $7 / kit to $3.20 / kit by buying more than 1 kit at a time.
Mike 1017 Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 There are some really good deals in the Clearance Section. I have purchased some stuff from them

And you are correct about the shipping. I usually buy several at a time to cushion the blow on shipping costs or at least find additional items (paint, glue, etc) to help with the cost.
