Revell Peterbilt wrecker

I finished this up last year or so. It was in my closet since around '96. I used a PE parts on it from MCG and I had some nice PE heatshield and alum tubing for the exhaust system. I didn't like glueing the two halve of the fuel tanks and air filters together and having that ugly seem. So I stripped the chrome, puttied and painted them body color.

Very nice. The painted tanks look nice as well. Like you, I hate the seam that shows up when the tanks are assembled.

Love the color, the decals looks real good with the green. Great looking model, although looks like the rear left tire has come off its rim!

Great job, hopefully Revell with re-release this baby again sometime.

Speaking of that, it always seemed to me that the rear tires never fit the wheels very well on those kits.
