espo Posted May 26, 2016 Share Posted May 26, 2016 A T type sleeper. The FBI used some of these as undercover cars in the day. I got to drive one to lunch one day after the used car manager had bought it at the GM auction. They had a chip that GM later sent a replacement for. You could get 3rd gear scratch before. With the OEM chip, second gear at best. It was white with a light tan interior. You would never notice it on the road, but that was the point. ZTony8 Posted May 26, 2016 Share Posted May 26, 2016 When I worked at the Buick dealership back in the 80s we had one of those FBI cars come in.We had heard about the special chip so we pulled the chip out of this car and took a look at the code numbers on it.Guess what? it was the stock production chip.
