Hey Anthony, next time you're in town stop by and I'll teach you how to make your paint jobs shine!

Seriously, you should post a step-by-step tutorial on how you get your paint that nice. The finish and luster is amazing!! I'm sure that a lot of people here, me included, would really like to see how you do your paint jobs (including all of the materials that you use).

THE TRUTH!!!!!

I know for a fact the secret behind Anthony's builds.

He sends them all down south to get painted, airbrushed, and finish detailed.

I've seen the purchase orders!!!!

Wait, this isn't April 1st?

Oh shoot, I'm dead......

Mr. Biggs, forgive me, please.....

Seriously, Anthony not only builds some incredible models, but he has the true heart and soul of what this hobby is about.

It was great to see Anthony at the NNL West in March.

The bigger thrill was to see him and Santiago at the NNL East in April

Now that's dedication, love, and passion for our hobby!!!!

I still have him beat on airline miles though!!!!!

Why didn't I win the long distance award????

That sucks!

:-)

That's okay, NWA gave me 10,000 miles for showing up :-)

Shut up, Gregg, go sleep....

Mr. Biggs

After seeing your work all over the boards, it was a pleasure to finally meet you in Wayne at the NNL East. It is always great to put a face to a name. Photos do not do your modeling skills justice. I'm still checking out details on your 300 truck. Amazing.

I see your planning on being at the Toledo NNL in October and I haven’t missed this show in years. Can't wait to see you again and check-out what you'll have on the table there. Keep posting those photos for us.

Thanks for the complement’s guy's.

MoparKid999: Once I get to that build I will post up more pic's of it

MR.1/16.... Thanks bro.

Rollin: You know how we do it.

Raul_Perez: Thanks for teaching me your secret on how to make car's shine. :P I will post up a few of my trick's of the trade and some how too's soon.

lordairgtar: Thanks... this will be my second rig I have built. But it will be better then the 300 Pete.

Gregg: I’m going to sue you, that was supposed to be a secret that you where taking to the grave. Well now I guess I have to send you to your dirt nap. And once again thanks for everything. You are the glue that's keep this Hobby together and going. It is people like you who deserve the biggest award. As for them mile's I still got you beat. Japan twice a year, Germany once and Texas 3 times. Not to mention the Nnl east and I still got Toledo to do. :P

Gary: It was all my pleasure meeting you. You are one hell of a guy and now I can put that name to a face too. And your build's are out of this world. I thought I was the only one who got crazy on them build's congrat's once again on your award's. I don't mind coming in second to a well-deserved modeler.

3men2s: THANKS...it just take's time and patience all the credit goes to having good product to use. The clear I use is RM Dimont but it cost a pretty penny. No matter how the bottom paint lay's it will cover everything, the good part is no sanding or buffing required. :P

Anthony,

I would really like to learn more about the clear you're using.

1) What is it thinned with or is it "ready to use"?

2) Does it have a catalyst?

3) If not, does it come in a can?

Thanks,

It's like mose Urethane clear's 4-1-1 but I just use the 4-1 method. It's 4 part's clear 1 part activator and to your preference 1 part Urethane reducer. sorry but it don't come in the spray can cause it has to be mixed. I use RM DIMONT but like I said it get real expensive. they have some other one's out there that aint too much and are pretty good, like LEGACY or USC I have tried them in the beginning and they looked good.
