charger74 Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Hi, I am a 38 years old french canadian. I mostly built american cars from the 60's and 70's. (Usually box stock) . With 2 young kids at home, i'm not the fastest builder ! !!! I've been working for Bombardier Aerospace for thé past 17 years in the paint shop department. I love going to car shows, and i also drive a 1974 dodge charger SE powered by a 440. I will starter to post some of my builds pretty soon
StevenGuthmiller Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Welcome Eric! My dad bought a brand new Charger SE in 1973. It was triple black. He bought it right off of the showroom floor & I believe it had a small block in it. We had that car for less than a year because my mother hated it. They traded it in months later for another giant, wood grained Mopar station wagon! Steve
Foggy 2 Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Hi Eric, Welcome to the forum, I know where you work, I was for a couple of months working at Air Canada in Montreal taking back a A319 for a lease company. My good friend was the rep taking new build 601's onto the Australian Government register. We found a really good model shop downtown which sold just about everything. Lucky we were ferrying aircraft all over the place so the extra suitcases were not a problem as we had the aircraft to ourselves.I'm a truck builder myself but I do make the odd car as well just to break up the production line!!!!!Enjoy the forum.Rgds,Foggy 2.
