You know I'm only here to help you. No pics yet from me, either...you also know that anything I'm thinking of building is still wrapped tightly in cellophane! Edited April 17, 2008 by Raul_Perez
j_nigrelli Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 i'll bite; can it be a wrecked lowrider? built by an old guy?
evilone Posted April 17, 2008 Author Posted April 17, 2008 man it dosent matter if your old and if its a fu!@ed lowrider if you can find one in a junkyard then do it
Billy Kingsley Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I'll just show pictures of my past family cars...They were full of rust and and now reside in junkyards!

Though I'm suddenly feeling a lot less confident after seeing the start you have made on that T-bird, Kevin Looking good already. Hmmm, I need to find a suitable candidate amongst my stash...

evilone Posted April 20, 2008 Author Posted April 20, 2008 I'm in on this So is that finished and posted by the 16th of August 2008 yes it is my friend
Dr. Cranky Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I wonder if my Gypsy Rose, camp mule, would qualify? There are more pictures of this beauty in my Fotki. Enjoy.
Olle F Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I guess already finished builds don't qualify, but I sure enjoy building beaters...
Raul_Perez Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 (edited) Well, if Michael, Virgil and Olle are in on this one then we'd better put on our "game faces" because these guys definitely know how to build junkers!! Edited April 23, 2008 by Raul_Perez
evilone Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 hell anyone can join and my game face is on but im in need of time for my ###### bucket LOL
Olle F Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Well, if Michael, Virgil and Olle are in on this one then we'd better put on our "game faces" because these guys definitely know how to build junkers!! Thanks, but if you look at how long it takes me to even build a box stock model, you have nothing to fear. Anyone in for a 4-year build-off?
VW Dave Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Thanks, but if you look at how long it takes me to even build a box stock model, you have nothing to fear. Anyone in for a 4-year build-off? I hear you there...I'm not big on building within time limits either. Would if I could, but I'm content just to share a few done 'beaters.' It's obvious I like 'em dirty too. (photo location courtesy Ken Hamilton) Three of the above models are slated to be part of a junkyard scene on my buddy's G-gauge railroad layout, and the Charger will likely make a 'guest appearance' as well.
Simon Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 these guys definitely know how to build junkers!! They certainly do - they must have worked for British Leyland Kevin, just so I'm sure what I'm doing and that I enter into the spirit of this properly, can I ask - do the builds need to be from a 100% new-in-box unstarted kit, or could I make something out of a broken older build? I recently got a few of my teenage builds out of my parents' attic, and there's a disassembled '69 442 in there crying out to be 'junked'. Then again, I've got my eye on something on Ebay too....
Spike Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 well there goes my idea. i was gonna build a replica of the joe dirt car too lol. i didnt think its been done yet
