I picked up this kit today and it looks like I will have to do some parts scrounging to make it as a traditional hotrod ,this kit does not have the gas tank and the frame does not stick out far enough so I was wondering if there is a more original frame and gas tank I could use on it.

The Switchers frames look absolutely nothing like real '32 frames.

The other AMT '32 frames are pretty bad too for the most part.

The Revell '32 Ford frames are nice enough, but they all have Ford 9" rear ends, not the traditional buggy spring. They DO have nice gas-tanks and frame horns front and rear that are about right.

I am going to look into the Revell frames to put this body on,its a shame it does not have a good frame as the body looks good so I will probably build the T first while I gather parts for the 32.

Replicas & Miniatures Co of Maryland has parts to make the Revell 32 chassis more stock, or should I say more traditional, with rear transverse leafspring, unfortunately he has no website but you can get hold of Norm at this address:

Replicas & Miniatures Company of Maryland
317 Roosevelt Ave., S.W
Glen Burnie, MD 21061

He can also be reached at his email:
