Very nice! Great that you're using the Johan body with the AMT guts. Johan's body is a MUCH better rendition of that B-Body Mopar than what AMT did.

They're just getting harder and harder to come by. :(

That is a very nice build of one of my favorite drag cars. I have a dilapidated JoHan ;69 RR that I was going to scrap. Looking at this one made me change my mind.

I believe it was, yes. Thanks. Dodge Dart perhaps? My memory is fuzzy on that point. (I could just Google it I guess.)

Landy ran Chargers, Coronets, Darts, and Challengers in his signature (from 1968) Red/Blue/Silver scheme. He ran Dodge clinics and was to Dodge what S&M were to Plymouth.

I have to fix the upper corners on the winshield as it pulled away a little and I missed that.

I have a 68 Coronet that someday will become a Dick Landy car.

I was attempting to do that very thing with my original MPC '68 Coronet back in the day. But I stuffed up the candy red on the sides, and never got back to it, and it got lost to time. I have a Modelhaus repop on order. Won't do it as Landy's, though--I'll do it as a stocker. I still want to do a Landy car but it will be the '68 Dart, and possibly the Charger.

I seem to recall that it was a Dart. I always like that silver and red combination.
