Mike C Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 I always like to wire up the correct firing order on American engines back in the days when cars had distributors. However its not necessary on modern cars. My current project is a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTS with a V12. I don't know what the firing order is so I just put in wires.
Jon Haigwood Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 And I always make sure there is air in the tires
Jon Haigwood Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 ...and a man wires how he wants to wire and disregards the rest... (sung to the tune of Simon and Garfunkel's The Boxer).Personally I would have gone with the Isley Brothers "It's your thing, do what you wanna do." (sung to the tune of "It's your Thing"

Take the time to do the research, you did on the old American cars.
afx Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 (edited) Let's turn this around - have you ever checked someone else's build to verify the firing order was correct?"That could have been a nice build - too bad the firing order was wrong" Edited July 13, 2016 by afx
