fairlane1320 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I started yet another project this weekend, good grief. maybe I need to hire a helper? Anyways, I made a lot of progress and I'm determined to push this one thru to the end. It's a 1/25 1964 Ford F700 Ramp Truck, and it will be hauling drag cars. The cab kit came from AITM, the chassis is from an AMT LN900 Race Car Hauler, and the flatbed is from a Lindberg L700 Dodge tractor trailer. I used the back half of the trailer bed, it fits very well. Comments and/or suggestions welcome! (Yes it sits a little high! LOL) More pix at https://public.fotki.com/fordflashback/scale-models/1964-f700-ramp-truck/
thejunkman Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) I am going to be watching this one. I need some inspiration and ideas on how to use that Ford F600/700 cab (I have yet to buy) to build a replica of a 65 F600 grain truck used on our farm. Thanks for posting the close ups of the rough cab and things included. It will help me visualize what I will have to do mod wise for my project.Good luck on your kit bash. fairlane1320 Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 It's coming along slowly. Chassis is nearly done, paint is done. Lots of details left to work out....
vintagercr Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Great start, can't wait to see it finished...
