  1. I'm using an AMT '66 Fairlane chassis under a Modelhaus '68 Torino hardtop, converted into a Fairlane 500. This a replica of what my 1:1 Fairlane 500 looked like when it was new.
  2. Mock-up shot of the Mach Won on a Revell '68 Mustang CJ chassis. 🐍
  3. The AMT Talladega has serious issues with the nose and grill. The nose doesn't fit at all, and the sides are shaped wrong. The grill is too narrow; the Talladega, Fairlane and Cobra all used the same grill. I tried modifying the nose piece to accept the correct grill, it didn't go well. 😄
  4. Slim chance, but I'll once again ask for a 1968-69 Cyclone fastback. They could use the less desirable '69 Cobra chassis & drivetrain to save money, I wouldn't mind. A new updated chassis & drivetrain would obviously be preferred. While we're at it, how about doing the Cyclone CJ and Spoiler II as well? 😆 Round2, if you're listening, I would happily loan you my resin Cyclone for this project!
  5. Don't hold your breath. The 68-69 Fairlane/Torino is the red-headed step child of the classic car universe.😐
  6. I picked this up recently, I'd never seen one before! 😄
  7. I subscribed on 8/28/23, and haven't received any mags yet. About a month ago, I inquired about my subscribed and never got a response. Please let me know, thx.
  8. Good to know, I have a few AMT "parts kits" ! 😆
  9. Thx for the info Steve! 😎 Any chance the original AMT 69 Mustang could also be resurrected?
  10. The part numbering system that Henry designed way back when has been degraded beyond belief, basic part numbers are pretty much useless now. The catalog is a giant mess. I could go on for days......
