Billy Kingsley Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I've got my second ever article published in there as well It's the MASSCAR 2007 coverage, and I hear it's 3 pages. I went to my LHS today to grab it but it hadn't arrived yet....I'm much farther away from Colorado though so it'll probly take longer... Bob (the owner of the LHS) is going to have me autograph a copy
RodBurNeR Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I just got back from Steve Kohler's house to check it out. The magazine looks great! I hope i can pick up a copy tomorrow someplace. My coverage was 4 pages, woohoo! thanks so much Gregg for bringing me aboard! I look forward to more this year! Even though my name was forgotten on the coverage, i did see my name in the contributors list , which is really cool Anthony i saw your article, but didn't get a chance to really look it over. I will obtain a copy though , without fail!
RodBurNeR Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Bob you need to see if you can get Steve to join us here on this forum. he's a good guy. yeah he is, one of my best friends! he might be a member here, but doesn't make it online much. he gets his email and goes here and there, but he doesn't like to spend a lot of time on the computer. i can see why though....his computer is like 10 years old and slow as hell lol

Joe Nunes Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Thanks, Gregg, but it would be as well for me to pick up the issue at the LHS...don't want to give the USPS a SECOND opportunity to mangle a great issue! Seriously though, as my subscription is non-refundable (not a problem with me) can the remainder of my subscription be transfered to a VA hospital close to the Denver area (short USPS transit) for the guys/gals to read? I'd still pick up the mags here locally at the hobby shop. It's a great model magazine and I'd like to have my copies intact so I can pass them on when I'm gone. Never did like to pass on ripped up magazines to anyone...

As for the member's It does seem that way cause we have alot from one bunched area. Like 30 from Nor Cal, 50 from So, Cal, San deigo, Arizona, and LV. but there is the same in the other race's too. we got them all over the US and in some part's the club is all white members or all black members but we are one big happy family. We also have a bunch of older white , black and latino gent's who stiil don't have the Internet but are builder's and in the club. Anthony R.
Joe Nunes Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Mr. Biggs..I have to say that Chevy II of yours in the Portfolio article is one sweet build. You nailed it with the color too!!
