ismaelg Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Hi, After 2 years in denial thinking it would never happen, it did. I ran out of Cobra Colors Clear A minute of silence please Yeah, I know there are many other alternatives out there (I have several already), but this was more than just a great product... Thanks,
Bowtienutz Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 "Psst Izzy, I have 700 bottles in stock, step over here in the dark I'll fix you up, Your not a cop are you?, Are you wired?" Sorry couldn't resist, I like messing with junkies.

crispy Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Ismael, So sorry to hear of your loss..... Gone but not forgotten: Their you go. A full bottle to keep near your desk. I'm on my last bottle and a half. May I ask what your other alternatives are? I've been using some of the Zero clear with great results. In fact it reminds me of CC's clear. I did not know Leon was a LEO! I hope he comes back in and says HI. One of the nicest after-market guys I've dealt with. Chris
george 53 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Ismael,Sorry to hear of your loss, may those left behind(you)find peace and solice in another manufacture's procuct. We are all just emty vessels anyway filled with the great "paint mxer's"secret formula.may peace be with you, and with your workbench.Go now ,the Mass is over.
simonr Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Well bro, I think it's time to pass the page and move to another alternative. One that I can recommend this time and that I had use on my most recent model, it's the Auto Clear from Finisher's. Seeing how well you're painting, after you give this the 3200-4000 polishing pads, plus a final buff with the Tamiya fine polishing compound you will say; "Dios mio"(oh my god!). Try it, you won't go back. Simón P. Rivera Torres

mademan Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I rock - Dupont premier Chroma-clear. its great stuff. not cheap but great!
Joe Nunes Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 (edited) You could always spray it with straight Future Floor Polish....smells better, too Future is a real acrylic, excellent topcoat that is nontoxic. Don't have to thin it to spray...can use it straight from the bottle. And you can add pearl dust to it for even more dazz. Build it up via 3 -4 thin to medium coats and I think you'll be surprised at how nice it looks. Say, Mademan, that is one nice looking color on your Chevy! Can you share the color name/product? It would look good on my '36 Ford Roadster I'm working on. Going with a chopped Convertible top made permanant to the body and kept white along with most of the interior. Your color accents and the white would really pop ! Thanks. Edited April 28, 2008 by rhoadapple
