I knew that the automatics were aluminum. Just wasn't absolutely sure about the manuals. & I'll bet every manufacturer did it differently. Steve
gtx6970 Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I can only speak for mopar. But the bellhsg and lower pan were on the engine when it was painted.
