LDO Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 I don't have a list ready to go, but I just bought a copy of The Guns of Navarone, mainly to see Gregory Peck. I'm going to pick up To Kill a Mockingbird and maybe even Roman Holiday to see more Gregory.I also have a copy of Spartacus. I think Laurence Olivier is brilliant in it. Just a great flick all around, but wow, he did a great job as Crassus. Also a big fan of Vincent D'Onofrio. I'll go see The Magnificent Seven. I watched one of the Men In Black movies with him in it, at home. Mom came over and I pointed him out. She thought I was joking. She looked it up online to be sure.
JollySipper Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 IMO, he wasn't very good as Batman/Bruce Wayne. He wasn't the worst, but far from the best. I know, it's one of only a few rolls he didn't really fit. Val Kilmer was the best possible choice to play Jim Morrison.......I would like to add Giovanni Ribisi to my list. Any of you guys seen "Boiler Room" with him and Vin Diesel? Excellent movie..........

Snake45 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Russell Crowe-I REALLY liked his character in LA Confidential.G I've always enjoyed his work too, especially in Gladiator. He reminds me of a modern-day Richard Burton.

slusher Posted September 10, 2016 Author Posted September 10, 2016 McQueen and Eastwood would top my list. The guy who played/plays Mike on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul is great. He's been around for years, playing both drama and comedy, but no one knew his name until recently. (As you can see, I've forgotten it too--oh wait, it's Jonathan Banks, just remembered). Snake, I liked Jomathan Bankes in Breaking Bad and Thought of this post when I saw Jonathan Banks in Under Seige 2 last night. Aaron Paul was going to be killed off in season 2 on Breaking Bad but was too good of an actor they kept him in the whole series..

Banks played Jay's brother in one of the early seasons and shows he's still got great comedy chops. He was also funny when he'd appear on the Breaking Bad after-shows.
