Warren D
Just curious if anyone has a source for these if they even exist? Looking for the old bias-ply type of lug snow tires for AMT rims. I have a set from a kit long ago that are really military style NDTs and just won't look right on a civilian truck. Rims are from the AMT Autocar A64B kit. Looking for 2 for front rims.TIA Edited September 6, 2016 by Warren D

Chariots of Fire
Check out Shapeways. I had a tire made for a 11:00 x 20 application. They have them on their website. it has a mud/snow tread.
leafsprings
It would be nice to have a heavier duty bias ply cross rib type or road lug type tire in 10.20 for all those hundreds of amt kits that came only with the highway treads. Agreed! Are the AMT Autocar A64B rims 20" ? I measured them and they seem closer to 24"
leafsprings
The bigger tires on AMT trucks were 22", but the majority of AMT kits used the 20" tires. All these tires were tube type ( the most common tire on large trucks back in the day) Edited October 13, 2016 by leafsprings
Warren D
Thanks. The biggest problem with Shapeways is their search engine. Type in what you want and it gives you hundreds of pages of unrelated junk. It doesn't even have a priority as in it will display related items first and then move along to stuff less related, it just throws what you really want in with the rest in a random manner. doogie7046
The Revell Mercedes DLK 23-12 fire trucks had snow type tires on front and drive wheels. They looked thin like the AMT Goodyear 10:00 X 20 so I think they will be too small to fit on the Autocar front rims.
