evilone Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 this might be a retarded question but where is the location of the master cylinder on a 48 chevy sedan delivery?
MR BIGGS Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 It's located in the same place as the other one's. it just don't have a power booster.
evilone Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 ive got the galaxie kit there isnt one there but it has a wierd duedad on the floor pans under the passenger seat
samdiego Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 (edited) This is for a truck but wasn't the sedan set-up similar? Edited April 29, 2008 by samdiego
MR BIGGS Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 (edited) If you are going with the straight 6, it's like the pic samdiego posted and if you going with a V-8, it's like the one I posted. Edited April 29, 2008 by MR BIGGS
bobss396 Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Basically, it goes like this. If the pedal hangs from under the dash, the master mounts on the firewall. If the pedal goes through the floor, the master is located under the floorboards and is mounted to the frame rail on a bracket. Bob

lordairgtar Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 That is one fine kit you have there, evilone. Just be mindful of the bumper brackets...they are very fragile.
