wisco8 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) Here are a few new pics of more interior work. I added the gas pedal and break pedal, along with the emergency break. New pe window handles, new pe steering wheel, hope I did it right or got close to doing it right. I'm still waiting for the floor mats, and instrument panel decals. Any how let me know what you think or anything that looks goofy. Thanks, Steve Cook Edited September 23, 2016 by wisco8

wisco8 Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 That steering wheel looks GREAT man! The seat belts too..... what or where are those from? NICE job!Hi John, the steering wheel is from detail masters and the seat belts are just molded in the plastic. I put a little future on them to get a little perspective to them. Right now I'm more focused on is everything straight and inline and does it look like that on the real car. I sent you an email earlier I got the stuff you were looking for here. I will need your mailing address. Best regards, Steve.
wisco8 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Here are a few pics of some engine details added. Hopefully I can add the radiator hoses, battery cables, and a few more odds and ends to make it look a little more detailed, I'm just an amateur at this, but trying. Jon Haigwood Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Looking pretty good. If I was going for a stock looking distributor I would paint the cap satin black. The hardest thing for me on the Hemi is the alternator and bracket.Looking forward to seeing more.

I did manage to figure out the pe linkage but I'm going to apply that to a better resin engine.
Bill J Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 If you are interested, the inner fenders and firewall should be body color. Not sure what color you are painting the body but body color would be factory correct for the firewall and inner fenders on a Charger. The engine and interior look good, should be a nice build
wisco8 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Hi Bill, thank you for the heads up. Here is a pic of the engine finished.

wisco8 Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 NICE work Steve!!!! That braided line, I have yet to "try" it, how is it to work with? Hi John, its very easy to work with. Try to roll the end of it a bit so it will slide into the fitting. Then you can paint the end of the fitting with some Tamiya clear red or clear blue looks cool!! Ill send you a piece along with the wire looms and a few compression fittings. You will love it!! Here are a few pics of the hood so far. I still cant figure out how to get rid of those tiny minute scratches I need something really soft to buff with and a really good polishing compound I will have to try Meguirar's hopefully it will work. Steve

I'm starting to get back to the hobby since my spinalsurgery 5 months ago. Hang in there brother, we are here for you!! And Steve, love the Charger, that steering wheellooks awesome! wisco8 Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 Dude I appreciate the help and comments I have became disabled in the last year and trying to get my hands working again but this model is my first on seance I left nursing home Hi Jason, you are a miracle. For someone who is disabled you are extremely gifted to do beautiful work such as the one you have finished. My brother in law hit a tree in a very fast nova and was crushed into the glove compartment, he is now a quadriplegic but has managed to able himself to do things quite well ,he is also a miracle. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!! Best regards, Steve Cook
426-Hemi Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Wow nice work guys! I too lost the use of my hands last year and have some still yet to go through on my right hand this winter (I'm having a part of my right hands ring finger removed, from a bad accident I was in last year..... So. I know how some of you guys feel. the modeling tho will help you GAIN dexterity....... I needed no Dexterity Therapy from the accident due to the way I build models and work with my hands so.... Here's the model I began working on with just 1 finger and one thumb on my right hand... and then another I was working on towards the end of all the stuff done to my hands, you can see in some pics that my hands are still bandgaged up from the accident. The accident, happened July 3rd 2015, the '68 Roadrunner was started in October of 2015!!!! So this models you guys have done look GREAT considering all that the few disabled modelers have been doing, NICE job guys!
