Hi folks. Thanks for checking in.

This week's excuse is that my PhotoBucket account crashed when I paid for a subscription. Didn't need more storage, just wanted to see if it would speed up when it's not trying to load a half dozen ads.

So what happened was, a couple days after, I took some update pics, but they failed to upload to PB. So, I retried a few times. Failing that, I went to my PC homepage. and this is what I got.

Broken links galore

I contacted support, they emailed back requesting more info including a screenshot ($@%^*@%^). That was Thursday. I haven't heard back yet.

I reluctantly started a Flickr account, (not fond of the Yahoo account requirement), but can't see how to create a direct link. Or any link for that matter.

So anyway, I canard-ly wait for their response.

Don't think for a second you were gonna' get away with that Dave. You're dealing with a propheshoonul here there then now. :o:mellow:

Joe, sorry to hear of the stress with an online deal.  I'm kind of wondering myself when they're gonna want some cash from me.

How did it come about exactly?  Was it the free deal beforehand?  Then you paid, and the crud hit the fan then?

Please tell.

Since we don't have a resolution yet, I am clueless as to how it happened or what caused it.

It happened a day or two after I paid, so it's unknown if that was somehow the cause.

I've fired off a new round of answers to questions they had this morning involving my phone, so they are back at trying to fix it.

BTW, they won't WANT cash until your free storage is full. I was at 33% before this all came down.

As soon as it's fixed, I'll do an update.

Here is the response I received from PhotoBucket Support:

Hello Joe,
Thank you for the additional information. I am very sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused you. This is a known issue affecting several users and our engineering team is troubleshooting the problem. We will get this resolved as soon as we can!
As a workaround, please try to access your account via a mobile browser or a desktop computer. If the problem continues, please let me know.
Thank you for your patience and again, I am terribly sorry for this inconvenience!

Well, there it is. I guess I'll just keep checking it until it comes up.

Joe... don't feel bad it looks as if what ever is wrong with Photobucket its affected all of my links and pictures as well. All of my photos in my threads are broken links and don't show the pics. It has to be something on their end.

No doubt Bro. It's been over a week now. I'll fire off a reminder to my service guy on Monday if it's still broke.

Ahhhhhhhh, the interweb. What are ya gonna do, right?

I have been having an odd problem with Photobucket. When I post a photo it always shows up double on the site. Using up more space then required.

I'd say it's part of the same problem Ray.

I told them the problem started when my phone pics didn't generate a "Recent Uploads" file for October. Figuring the app was the problem, I uninstalled basic PB and installed PB for Samsung since I have a Galaxy Note 4.

When that failed to fix it, I reverted back to basic and it uploaded every pic on my phone that I've taken in the last 2 years. 1500 give or take. Now my pic count is nearly 3500.

I don't believe the problem started because I subscribed. That's gotta be a coincidence. Nevertheless, I will ask them to change my annual renewal date to the resolution of this catastrophe.

Although not to my complete satisfaction, I can at least use Photobucket now. Still a ton of broken links.

I told Dave (comp1839), that he had inspired me to get back to the bench after seeing his mind altering clutch assembly.

While that was a while ago, I have been working my tail off making Bat-Scallops on every wing they will fit on.

A total of 10 so far, plus a Bat Symbol for the top of the hood.

The center front and rear side wings (not the canards or rear inboard wings) will be bolted into place instead of glued on for painting purposes.

I'll have pictures later today after I drill the side wing bolt holes. It will be a total mock-up before putty.

Also, having had so much time between posts, I've come up with a couple more name possibilities:

1 - The original name "Gotham Flyer".

2 - Knitro Knight

3 - Bat Winged Express (ala Wild Willie)

Vote for your fave or suggest something more warped.

See y'all later today.

Alrighty then, with the exception of some parts that are still loose and refuse to stay as posed, here she is.

Next will be hinging the roof hatch, then putty and primer. Sounds like I've got my weekend cut out for me.

Thanks for the votes on the name. Keep 'em coming.

Thanks everybody. Y'all are as twisted as I am.

joe, can i find "bat-scallops" in the seafood section?  hehe.

Yes Dave. They are next to the bat-filets. No, I don't know what wine to serve with them.

Lazy day yesterday. On to the hatch today.

Joe... Holy Bat-Tastic... wow that is a lot of wings.... did you accidentally give this Fiat Red Bull??? . I have to tell you that I like Knitro Knight the best. This is one wild build for sure.

Thanks some more you guys. Everyone's leaning toward Knitro Knight. I think we have a winner. Unless there are any objections?

I had fun with the hinge for the roof hatch. Made the first one too big. Nailed it on the 2nd try.
