.........just called Round2 to thank them once again for quick and exact part replacement of issues with one of the car kits. I have contacted them a few times over the past couple of years, and they have never once let me down. thought I would share this with the forum, because I have found that their company truly is customer oriented.......best, the Ace.......:D

Round2 is great. Twice I have requested parts; the first time the parts arrived within the week. The second, I was informed that they were out of stock and it would be a long wait, a few months later they arrived. And all you need to do is send a picture of the UPC and not cut up you boxes like Revell.

I can't be bothered with Revell anymore, parts requests go unanswered. On another occasion I sent in the upc off the box, jumped through hoops for them to say, we have no parts for the kit. Too bad, no offer to replace the kit with something else, nothing. So now I am forced to pay double for a kit having to buy replacement parts on eBay for nearly the cost of a new kit.

Mike have you tired Revell/Monogram in the last couple years? I just go to their website online and request what I need. I've never had a problem with them. And I've never had to cut a box up to prove to them that I bought the kit. They've been great to me.

I found with Revell that it may vary in the length time you have to wait on certain things. Other things they'll ship quite quickly. I suppose it may have something to do with what they have in inventory. I've had times were I thought I was not going to get something from Revell. Maybe I need to put in a second request? Then the part suddenly arrived. It's not fun sometimes waiting for things. But the world doesn't revolve around me and my model building. Too bad. It should. ?

I recently bought a Round 2 kit that had a bad chrome tree, I put in a parts request for just what I needed. I got the parts in about a week, unfortunately the chrome on two of the parts were very thin and you could see the base color coming through. It's a set of headlights and the lenses have a green tint from the yellow plastic. The lights have clear lenses that go over the lights, so I think the green tint will look kind of cool.

You would think someone would inspect replacement parts to make sure they are acceptable. I'm not complaining as I think their service was very good.
