Snake45 Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Do you have code for this color Bill? I hope to find for use on a 70 hardtop. That looks pretty close to Testor/Model Master Fathom Green ('69 Chevy color). My Hobby Lobby doesn't have it anymore but it IS still in the line.

My Hobby Lobby doesn't have it anymore but it IS still in the line. Thanks for the tip. I doubt i will be able to get that color over here on those rattle cans. I thought about Verdoro Green for Pontiac, seen on some 69 GTO`s,probably avaliable earlier and later as well. Thisi can get to ready for airbrush. Plan on this color for a 70 "Catalina" wagon.

TIM Thanks. Speaking of 69 Town and Country, there is a guy in our town who has one of those with the 300 grill,it looks really goodbut i doubt it`s factory. He said this car was one of the most expensive cars on the 1969 line-up.

The seller on ebay had a narrow selection so i could not find it. Maby i should ask to add to selection. Btw do you have any pictures of Fathom Green being used on a build? Yes i got one early this year, still very inexperienced on using, but learning.

The Camaro is MCW's Fathom Green. They're not exactly the same, but I can't way which is more "accurate."
tim boyd Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 (edited) Thanks. Speaking of 69 Town and Country, there is a guy in our town who has one of those with the 300 grill,it looks really goodbut i doubt it`s factory. He said this car was one of the most expensive cars on the 1969 line-up. The '69 Town and Country was really equipped more like the lower-series Newport, but wore a front grille from the top of the line New Yorker series and the interior seats from the 300 that year. His 300 grille swap sounds very cool but it wasn't built that way at the factory... as you correctly note. It was one of the higher-priced Chrysler models that year, but it really looked great (as you noted) and seemed to hit a spot in the market that year. Sold around 21,000 units if memory serves me correctly And it looked best (IMHO) in that good ol' F8 Jade Green Metallic, too. Cheers.....TIM , Edited November 30, 2016 by tim boyd
