40 Ford Pickup Kustom

Well been i  building slump so I got into three different Build offs in some groups on Facebook this is the work I have done so far on the 40 Ford pickup

The door hinges in the kit are not very good. I drilled a hole in them and inserted a wire through them.

A handy hint: this kit has issues with alignment of the cab and hood; I wound up channeling the body 1/16" over the fender unit and it was a big help.

(Not trying to hijack - it's an old work-in-progress)

Really helped with the body/hood/grille fit. (You'll need to trim the bottoms of the inner door panels a bit, too.) Good luck!

Thanks for the tips haven't really looked at much of this stuff yet as I am still doing some modifications to some of the rest of the body

If it does it will not be posted on again as there is several other posts on here that I think should be in the pickup and truck section that shouldn't be on here either I for one don't care any more won't be posting any mpre updates or WIP on this site will just stand aside and read all the crying going on because I posted on the wrong place.

Ya Todd don't let the few push you away.  I have been where your thinking almost quit this site.  I am hear to see and show for the model guys and gals, the rest I just let it slide.  I love this hobby and looking at other peoples builds.  I don't know if this makes sense at all but what can I say.
