This is an older build from the MPC 67 Charger and the AMT 70 Superbee Prostreet, and I dubbed it the Emperor. It sports the SOHC Hemi. This model was finished sometime around 95 but it was very plain, as I couldn't find any decals for it I liked. This model has been through numerous moves while I was in the service, and it has the patina to prove it. After all she's been through, I thought hard about a repaint, but couldn't bring myself to do it. Recently I just decided to use the decals that came with the original kit and call it done, 13 years later. The build is older, so I figured the period graphics from the 80's would be appropriate. Many thanks to Mark for the decals, and Joe Cote who provided the hood as I recall. She's a bit beat up, but I love her.

Looks like she is holding up well. It's been a while since I've seen a old MPC one. I have one I keep wanting to start, but then I remember the R/M one I also have, and it gets put aside. Gotta love those old MPC kits. Great work.

The MPC kit is pretty good, but the trim, scripts and door handles are very light so this kit lends itself better for a street machine or drag build. Unfortunately it has the old through-the-engine front axle, but that's easy enough to fix. It comes with a cross ram as well, which is very cool. The AMT 70 Superbee pro-street chassis swaps in with about 2mm trimmed off the front of the chassis. Just modify the interior bucket for the wheel tubs and you're in business. The Revell kit is top notch in every way though. Thanks for looking.

It looks pretty awesome for being an old mpc build. You might have gotten the hood from me off the SA board. I remember someone needing a hood for the mpc kit. Great job!
