blunc Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Hey Mike, thanks. Not sure what you mean by mounting it upside down though. I put in a gas pedal so I'm good. Chief Joseph may just let you, not sure.the gas pedal I suggested is one of the "foot" style from a Detail Master photo etch set, the small ones in that set would work for 1/32 scale but are the left foot...so it would have to be mounted reversed to make it a "right foot" for a gas pedal.
gasser59 Posted April 5, 2017 Author Posted April 5, 2017 Now that makes sense. We gonna see you this Saturday?
blunc Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Now that makes sense. We gonna see you this Saturday?Yup, I'll be there taking photos and doing some shopping...
gasser59 Posted April 9, 2017 Author Posted April 9, 2017 This Hemi Fiat took first place at DSC XIII yesterday. A bit of a mishap as the tranny tunnel came loose during judging but no big deal. Since the 1966 original box art is so cool and its also in such good shape, I decided to display the build on top of the box.
comp1839 Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 awesome!!! you've collected quite the haul of trophies brad. well deserved!!!!
Nytrozilla Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 I knew it was a trophy getter from the first post Brad. Congratz my friend.
gasser59 Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 Thanks for the kudos fellas and following along on this little build. Its been fun. I just need to re-attach the tranny tunnel, take a few pictures for the 'Under Glass' section and put this in the display case. On to the next one.
Davewilly Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Nice to hear! oh...and I know 32nd scale is small...but in person its really small!
gasser59 Posted July 4, 2017 Author Posted July 4, 2017 Since PBucket has decided they want your $ to host your photos, I'll slowly be switching this thread as well as a few others over to Fotki. This will take time.
gasser59 Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 My good friend Gabriel from Moonlight Modelers gave me a resin of the '41 Willys kit. It looks complete and I may just have some fun with it by swapping engines, etc since its not an original kit. We'll see what happens.
