Taking a break from the jet truck with this.
tinypic is messing me about, there is supposed to be the box art here not a scantily clad very nice young lady.......

Got it up the rolling chassis stage, still got the shocks to fit etc.

The cab back is fitted too, just a bit of cleanup but not a great deal!

While the pickup bed has been partly assembled too.

Thanks Marc.

Take two on the box art...

Done the shocks in body colour.

The body in colour,it is Tamiya coral blue.

Bed wise it has a slight warp and the tailgate is being glued in place hence no paint yet!

Got the window rubbers done with a sharpie'

The rear was easy and done freehand - one tiny mark to be removed!

The bed has been sprayed and gave the grille a wash with Alclad jet black.

Cheers Tom.:D

Got the interor done, just matt black.

Done the dash body colour with a black anti glare top and the instrument binnicle in Vallejo mahogony, not my best masking job but it will be mostly hidden!

Cheers,get one it is nice.

Got the bed done, lights in bumper on and roll bar fitted.

The bed is not secure yet hence the wiggle with the bumper...

But the cab is glued in place.

In case you are unaware of it, the shapes on the top of the passenger side fender liner are the jack and the tire irons, along with the clamps holding them in place.

No problem. I've seen a few other guys overlook this detail. Doesn't take much to bring it out, just a bit of black on the jack and irons, and maybe a leftover yellow decal bit that looks like a warning label. On my former Blazer there I had sandblasted the rust off the clamps and two of the irons and hadn't yet painted them.

This little jewel is looking pretty good.....Great job on this.....I love the pic of the chassis as it shows why these trucks were so dangerous in side impact crashes.....Just burst into flames.....Amazing they got away with it for so long......Anyway.....Excellent work....
