So while attempting to hack away at the ugly molded-in exhaust On the old AMT 'cuda kit, i stumbled on the Fireball 500 kit that i Had in my stash. Upon inspection, they share the same AMT chassis Except theres NO UGLY EXHAUST pipes/mufflers molded in. A real time saver. Still not a great chassis.....just better.

I would use the AMT 71 Duster chassis, it's also an A-body and is much more detailed.

Like i said before.....still not a great chassis, but it is slightly better. For those modelers who aren't too worried about a detailed chassis.

Thanks.

I'm with ya' , Glenn, I bought 2 parted out Fireballs last summer to do the same thing. It won't 'drop' in, but 5 minutes of sanding and slight trimming make it drop in quickly. oh, and as for your 'like I said' statement,,,,ALWAYS expect somebody on this forum, usually a foreigner or the like, to diminish your suggestion and kind sharing of info by upstaging your thought's with  their knowledge of, well, everything in life.....-_-...especially  a small group of them that figure the rest of us live in a cave and just discovered car modeling yesterday... post some of your other discovery's and kindly share them with us,,, they will be truly appreciated by most builder's on the forum, however  I guarantee there is a few that love to deflate another guy's new discovery's or idea's only to promote their own self-appointed undoubted status as a true 'God of modeling' ...thanks for posting to those who appreciate it....the Ace.....B)
