cpspoogie Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Took the repop of the 1959 Lincoln Futura and used clay to make the figures into the Coneheads of 1970s Saturday Night Live skits. Heavily modified with putty, spare parts, old toy parts and stock styrene to make the diorama. Blue LEDs complete the "take off" from their curbside power station cleverly disguised as a common utility box. Having a hard time uploading more photos. I usually take pics with my iPhone but lately one pic is more than the 3.5? MB allowed. Tried pasting a link from Photobucket but that won't work either! Chris
espo Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Very inventive, I like the Cone Head idea. Like you I have had problems down loading photos that I took with my phone. I used to have to reduce them a couple of times to get them small enough for them to fit the sites format. What I have done now is to Crop the image rather reduce it. This worked great for me. I had a sharper image of the model and cutout a lot of the back ground that I didn't want anyway.
iamsuperdan Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 (edited) As much as I dig the subject matter here and want to see more pics, I think I'm more intrigued by the fact that you have a cassette tape on the work bench. Going old school while modelling? Awesome! Edited February 7, 2017 by iamsuperdan
