Grape gloss pearl. I painted the middle of the hood black instead of using the decal because it had torn apart on me. My first real attempt at any line details. It's got ignition wires, battery cables, brake lines, e-brake cable, fuel lines, and tranny cooler lines. Don't mind the tires. I have to finish the lettering. Thanks for lookin

Very nice build. Chrysler products are the only ones that just look right in Purple. A question on the tires. Were they from this kit?? They look like the treaded Good Year Racing tires from the early 70's. I would like to use some for a future build.

Thank you espo! I'd have to agree to a certain extent on the purple. Chrysler got their purple right for sure. Although I had a 68 El Camino that I had painted purple with a black vinyl roof and black on the rockers with a black "rhino lined" bed that looked really nice. But yes I agree Chrysler seems to just be right in their plum crazy!

As for the tires they're not from this kit... I don't recall where I had gotten them but had a couple sets of them. They're a goodyear racing tire for sure though. Great tires for letter detail and I liked the profile of them over the goodyear radial gt that seems to come withe every kit on the market. I hate those and have enough of them to choke a horse with.
