Thanks EVERYONE!!!! I truly appreciate it! This model was fun for what it began out as.... (First posting of the build) says all of why its has the meaning to me that it does.....

I'm pleased beyond imagine on its completed "look".... Thanks EVERYONE tho, there were a few of you, out there in Model building land at the time I started this cheering me on to keep it up. this is the outcome of that model building support! Thank you all!

I just google-imaged some real '68 RR taillights and now I understand what's going on there. I'd just never noticed the black surround to the backup light before, so...never mind! B)

Snake,

If you look here:

Scroll down the page a little over half way down the page you can see what the issue was with the taillights..... Has nothing to do with the blacked out part, its got more to do with the chrome trim around the outer edge of the tail light from what you seen on Google when you looked for them.... The models parts did not have that trim ring in chrome!

Thanks EVERYONE!!!!! I'll be getting a few more "done" in the coming weeks, as I have a couple that are just as close done as this one was! So. more of my stuff is coming..... I'm working on Rosco's Police car now.... it was #2 in my Round Robin style of building there for a bit, and I plan to continue on..... As the more of these types projects are done, the more I can move on to other stuff!!!!! (I got my share of those just "waiting").....

Compliments like these is what makes all that work, worth it in the end! Thanks guys! -MUCH appreciated!

Thanks guys! Much appreciated!

If you all read the first posting, this model was my "healing" model. after the accident with my hands, and to that end, I've got a little sentimental attachment to it because of it, I had to go through NO "Dexterity" therapy!!!! It did it all on its own! Which in itself is kinda impressive to think what model building does or can do in bad physical situations..... I'm happy to see it completed, and look as good as it does for what it start out being, and what it ended to be!

Thanks tho guys! MUCH Appreciated!
