oldcarfan Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 (edited) Hope this is the place to post this. I went to the ModelFiesta in San Antonio Saturday and wanted to show my haul. This is the first show I've been to since I got married in 1999. Anway, It wasn't a huge show, but it was fun. I went with the goal of finding a few Porsches and I definitely did that! I also got 10 bagged kits including a Lindberg D-Type Jaguar and a Revell XKE. I feel like I really lucked out. Edited February 20, 2017 by oldcarfan
Greg Myers Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Nice haul Gary, The swap meets are really great, we have one coming up this weekend here in Phoenix.
High octane Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 I also have a swap meet comin' up this weekend, and while I don't really need anything, who knows? Maybe I'll even get rid of a couple of JoHan kits that day also.

magicmustang Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 (edited) oldcarfan, can you remember who did the Porsche #4 kit? Been wanting the front end like that. It's a 1/24 Tamiya kit. Had one and sold it. Same series as the BMW 320i shown below it. Edited February 22, 2017 by magicmustang

torinobradley Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 I recognize several of those kits as you picked em up from my table. Glad to see them go to a good home!
vintagercr Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Nice haul. Really like the Martini Porsche
oldcarfan Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) oldcarfan, can you remember who did the Porsche #4 kit? Been wanting the front end like that. I can't see any markings on the 4 car or the 2 car, but I'm pretty sure they are old curbside Tamiya kits. They both have the old motorized type chassis. The yellow one is the simplified Monogram Carrera RSR from the late 70s. I don't know if it's supposed to be an actual Hurley Haywood replica or not, but I haven't found any google images of a Porsche marked like that. Edited February 25, 2017 by oldcarfan
