gtx6970 Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) Finished this one up over the weekend . I had ordered the Molotow pens to specifically to try on this build. The windshield frame which oddly enough is molded in black plastic ,,,, I just went over the plastic with the 2mm pen. and I swear it looks like it came off the chrome tree Car is all box stock, although I did go over most of the chrome with a yellow sharpie to give it a gold tint. Painted all rattle cans - with Duplicolor basic black with Duplicolor clear. . Interior is just Tamiya dull red , and embossing powder for carpet. The kits not exactly the easiest to build. Especially gluing the rear seat risers in place on a painted body was nerve racking to say the least . Plus the pass side rear fender hits the tire if you use the pre-drilled mounting holes for said fenders ( I moved the rear section of it up just slightly to clear the tire) Ps, I added a filler strip to the back of the rear most top seat to fill it in . Ive wanted to build this kit for years ,,just never got the ambition to until recently . I now have both this one and the Dragula in the case. Thanks for looking Edited March 1, 2017 by gtx6970

stavanzer Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Great Job, on a So-So kit. Looks like the real thing.
Dann Tier Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Looks GREAT!!, makes me want to dig mine out and build it. Like you, my Drag-U-La is already built, so I need to do this one, BUT I already have two builds going on right now.

JTalmage Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Looks great! I bought the Duo kit recently myself... I hope mine turn out half as good.
Preston Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Nice! I have a long term goal of building my favorite TV and movie cars, and the Munsters combo is on my short list. This gives me inspiration to go ahead and order it.
