IMG_1470.thumb.PNG.f5ff3c227b271bfa97350It looks like it could be a late 60's Dodge, but the windows don't match anything I've googled. Anyone have an idea if this is just an artist rendering or based on a real vehicle?

You're right! I didn't even think about the possibility of it being a Chevy! All of the big three vans from that era looked to similar. But, I see the window shape being the same. Thank you!

Looks like a '64-66 (early first gen) Chevy or GMC G-van. No kit nor resin body exists, 'cept for the Mini Lindy kit which is 1/37-ish scale.

Actually that Mini-Lindy is more likely 1/64 ish scale

Remember those were designed to Matchbox size back then

For those who wanted a Matchbox Kit

And YES, I have a few of that Mini-Lindy Van!!

I also have this one

A one piece "Blow-Molded" Bank Promo

It looks a little smaller than 1/25, but I am glad to have found it!!!!

more pics here:

I do not know if it would be good enough to use for resin casting

due to the make up of the piece

Also the rear doors were cut open at some point

Likely to remove any $$$ put in it back when

This looks to be a '70 Chevy Van. My first husband had one and I used to sit on the engine to be next to him while he was driving down the road.

Againmikewins, Jimmy does make this one .I think its not in his catalog yet? It is a little more $$$ than his regular castings. He will be at the Macomb DAAM show on March 29th, 2020 if you need one!!
