bbowser Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Nice job! Love to see stockers done on this site.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Very nicely done!!Refreshing to see a proper Model T.
f1ford48 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Very Authentic looking-engine details look correct as well. these 26-27 Model Ts are actually kinda rare in 1/1 scale.
Eric Macleod Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 The color is called gunmetal blue and is an authentic Ford color. The 26-7 ford's are not as rare as you might think but a lot of the survival rate is because Ford used almost no wood in the body in most of the cars. Thanks for the positive comments.
Eric Macleod Posted March 24, 2017 Author Posted March 24, 2017 I really appreciate the comments. I have three more of the "improved Fords" coming. The complete set will be a fun accomplishment. This one is a model of a car that won nearly every award a Model T can win. I wish it lived in my own garage!
misterNNL Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Thanks for taking the time to photograph and post these.Nice to see a stock model T for a change.I believe that stock builds can be more difficult that hot rodded cars in that a whole lot if time and effort is needed to choose and find the correct paint colors as well as proper wiring details etc.Nicely done.
