This drifter had a 1:1 role model car in Sweden a few years ago. I saw a video of it in utube and it hit me hard. I used several Nascar parts and the rest is again scratch built. The no. 43 is a tribute for mr. R. Petty ofcourse.

Really cool subject and awesome detailing!
I love the burnt rubber on the quarters and the sound deadener foil on the interior, the e-brake and shifter details, the aero, paint job...lots to look at an appreciate on this build. Very nice work.

Great detailing. I also like the rubber on the lower quarters ( rear wings?)  The discoloration from the hood vents ads a great deal of realism.

Yes yes that's the video where I spotted this roaring Superbird! In the technical info they say it had a 800 hp Nascar engine in it. They also say the front tires didn't turn enough, that's why the driving wasn't so impressive. But I think the Superbird looked superb.

I as a modeller haven't ever cared much, what engine I use in my models, as long as it looks good and powerful.

Thanks everybody for your kind comments! This one was a real fun to build, trying to make evrything as in 1:1 Drift Superbird had. I understand it still continues roaring around the drift track painted in blue colour.
