Mr. Moparman Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Hello guys, I was wondering is there was a sort of "one-stop shop" for the model car aftermarket world. When I did this hobby 24/7, I remember Scale Dreams being my go-to vendor, but I see they have since closed down. I'm trying to find some Mopar Performance valve covers, some Recaro-style racing buckets, some Pegasus rims and disc brakes, etc. Thanks for the help,Brandon
Roncla Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Such a shop is something I've been looking for without success. A one stop shop would sure cut back on the exorbitant costs of shipping these days
mikemodeler Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I have seen a vendor at a couple of shows here in the Southeast that does something similar- Xtreme Scale Detail. They carry a lot of detail items and might have what you are looking for. www.xtremescaledetail.com
Mr. Moparman Posted May 24, 2017 Author Posted May 24, 2017 Thanks guys. I'm gonna check out that Xtreme Scale Detail. It looks like Morgan over at MAD has most of the stuff I need besides the tires/wheels, and the seats. Trying to build a hot modernized '68 Charger
mikemodeler Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I have had great success with two other resin places and highly recommend them:1. Scenes Unlimited- Danny has the nicest stuff and great service. Wheels and Tires for most any vehicle you can think of.2. Fireball Modelworks- Joseph has incredible stuff and you won't be disappointed. Great service as well!MAD has a lot of neat stuff, Kris is another resin caster with great product and service.
