maltsr Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 This kit goes together really well and looks very impressive with its bright paint scheme. I used the new Tamiya Pearl Yellow and Semi Gloss Black. Decals went on smoothly without effort, all in all an enjoyable build.
'70 Grande Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 (edited) Beautiful build! Your paint and decal work look flawless; everything looks right-on-the-money! It amazes me how these C7 Corvettes look, (to my eye), like they have an outrageously-tall roof-line when viewed from above, but the roof drops-down so drastically when viewed from the side. Guess those leaning-inward door & side windows create that illusion; to me the car looks so much better when viewed from that side-view! Edited June 11, 2017 by '70 Grande word-change

Len Woodruff Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Nice Job. Did you use any tricks to get the body to set down on the chassis?
maltsr Posted June 13, 2017 Author Posted June 13, 2017 Nice Job. Did you use any tricks to get the body to set down on the chassis? Thanks Len.I simply applied glue front and rear, placed the kit upside down with some weights on top. There is a slight bow in the middle but it's not noticeable.
