RUF CTR Yellowbird in 1/24

Hi, all... what do you Porsche fans think would be the best 1/24 starting point to adapt into one of these babies:

Well, you have many options. If you wanted to do it as a curbside, you could start with the Tamiya or Fujimi for best results, if you wanted to do a full engine, start with the Fujimi enthusiast kit. The wheels? good luck!! I've been looking for decades for a set of those wheels in scale. I have a hazy memory of someone making a resin set eons ago, but havent seen anything since. Fujimi made a newer set of Ruf wheels that were used on the 964, but they arent even close to the yellowbird wheels.

Fujimi has offered many different versions of the 911 family.  It will take some kit bashing to get the wheel flare/bumper combination right.

Fujimi 1985 911 Carrera would be your best bet for a starting point, that's what the real cars were based on.

I think Aoshima makes a wheel set that looks like those.  Flat spokes.  You would have to play with the offset/backspace though.

Kinda surprised Scale Production dont do a transkit or wheels, they do heaps of other Porsche stuff. You could maybe do the Cup wheels instead.
