Helping MCM

This has been brought up before, and honestly, the response was not what we had expected.

Now that we are trying to get back on our feet, we need help in getting things more in tune with the way the site should be.

When I talk about the site, I am referring to the main site: www.modelcarsmag.com, not the forum.

The main site is where the "public" usually goes to first, or when they want to find something

What I need is an updated index of MCM. I had started one years ago, and a couple of failed attempts at updating has been done since, but nothing to write home about. The index was like this:

If anyone wants to help, then updating the index from 105 to date would be a great help. It would probably be best to work backwards, from 203 to then, so the site can list the back issues that are more recent/current.

I have the file as a Word file.

There a lot of other things to do as well. I've had some help with the phone (Thanks, Rich!!!!), and hopefully I'll get more of my brain working where I can get objectives/outlines done so we have a clear track/road on where we are going.

Too bad this would probably require all of the magazines, and I have zero copies of any of them. I really like the site, but I don't believe I've ever bought the magazine.

Two guys have stepped up and helped with the index!

Jim (CrazyJim, I hope I got the screen name right, and Bob from Cali have been working on the index.

Now I have to start putting them together on the site, and hopefully link them to the past issues.

I know, more things to do, but now there is a great start on the indexing, and it will make things a lot easier.

Not a problem Gregg.  Happy to help you out.  If/when you get the issues I'm missing to me, I'd get right on it.

No back surgery for me.  Bulging disk require daily exercises to build up strength.  Bio-Freeze helps and so does the heating pad and TENS unit from the VA.

Somebody has to help out the Big Kahuna.  It wasn't so bad.  Just a few hours spent on the project and I didn't lose any build time.

It usually makes you feel good when you are able to help out a friend in need.  The magazine is getting back on track, albeit slowly, and this Forum is always here for us to enjoy and share, Thanks a bunch Gregg.
