Jaguar man 21 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 I picked this kit up at my local flea market a few weeks ago and really didn't know what direction to build it so I went on google and one of the first images was an absolutely beautiful red 1966 Fairlane gt and I tried to do my best to replicate that car. Apart from the quite noticeable touch up spot on the fender it came out pretty well!
665@213 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Good looking Fairlane. The red with the white rocker stripe really pops! ?
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 I like it a lot. Can't go wrong with Cragars. Needs a bit of foil on the A pillars.
Dave Darby Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 (edited) I like it a lot. Can't go wrong with Cragars. Needs a bit of foil on the A pillars. Took the words right out of my mouth. (Compare windshield trim with the photo of the real one. It's Ertl's mistake.) Love the red! Edited June 30, 2017 by Dave Darby
Dann Tier Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Never thought this car could look tough, but you did it!!!!!!!!
Classicgas Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Nice! Might I suggest using a piece of white posterboard for pics? You can get one for a buck at Walmart. Will make your model stand out more.
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 1, 2017 Author Posted July 1, 2017 Thanks guys!, thanks you for the tip lee I'll have to go get some
