m3m Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 (edited) Hey guys, built this mostly from the box, changed the wheels and tires. Just a quick build. I could not get the hood decals to work, so i painted them, and used the 351 decal. I recently started using tamiya paints, and love them, now i gotta try and polish my builds, just got some polishing sheets,(haven't used em yet) so i hope the next build will be really shiny! Build the 302, and 429 boss mustangs, just wanted a mach 1 to go with them. Thanks for looking! Edited June 10, 2008 by bub
randx0 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 nice job like the colors ,are those firestone decals in the kit?when using the polishing kit keep them wet and good luck

Simon Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Looks superb. If I recall correctly, that looks just like a genuine Mach 1 paint colour, or very very close to it. Nice

I have been trying to get better at taking pictures, come along way in the year since i joined! Still have a ways to go on building and taking pics! Have a good one, and thanks again!
Harold Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 That is absolutely beautiful, jeryd. The paint is great, and you nailed the stance perfectly.
cruz Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Very cool, I am planning on doing one of those sometime this year if I can find the time. Great job on yours man!!!
Darrell Gwinn Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 That looks great, I love the color. A guy my family knew had a Mach 1 that color, it was sweet, all original, he bought it new. He died a few years back in a tractor roll over. His wife kept the car in the garage since then. He used to run the car show in our town every year so this year since my family is running it, its in memory of him and they may bring the car up to display it. But anywho, your build just reminded me of his car so I thought Id share that.
Darrell Gwinn Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Here's a pic of the Mustang I was talking about.
