Jimmy flinstone 1961 ford Starliner

Has anyone used his resin body before? I was able to order one earlier and I know the amt 60 Starliner is used for most of the parts but what will I need in the form of bumpers and other trim?

Jeremy, I've not built any of Flinstone's resins, but RC2 (or maybe Round 2) reissued the '61 Galaxie just a few years ago. They used the same bumpers as the Starliners IIRC, and they should be readily available for a reasonable cost.

The reissue of the '61 Ford is a Galaxie Club Victoria. They released it as a curbside Styline kit and as a slot car kit. No suspension detail or open hood and the interior is very basic.  

 

I'd go with the Flintstone body and '60 Starliner kit if you want a full detail option.

I believe the AMT 61 Ford, which was reissued again by Round2 within the last few years should supply your grille and bumpers, and maybe a few other bits. You could use the chassis also, but it's a metal axle promo style chassis with all detail molded in. If you're going for full detail swap in the modern tool AMT/Ertl 60 Starliner chassis and engine, and possibly the interior with some work. That one was reissued a few years ago by Round2 as a 2n1 kit. I'm not sure if has been reissued since then.
