As far as Iknow it was in only one Dodge (at least one Bighorn) and it was Allis-Chalmers themselves who had ordered it. The engine's build thread is in here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/123724-1974-dodge-bighorn-done/
grodudulle77 Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Thanks Pat . It seems much more powerful than the other engines , at the same time ! Sacrée machine !?
Chuck Most Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 Not sure how I missed this originally, but nice old Dodge. One of these days I want to model a Big Al engine. I think an AMT Cummins would get me about 75% there. I've got an Illini Big Horn that I need to pay more attention to. 1

I used a DAF 2800 as a base.

Force Posted April 30, 2024 Posted April 30, 2024 It's pretty close to Mopar FC7 "In Violet"/"Plum Crazy" High Impact color from the early 70's 1
