In part of the 57th All Japan Model &Hobby show coverage,  Aoshima has announced some of their new tooled kits, and one of them is the 2014 Toyota Probox NCP 160, they are going to offer both versions, a commercial and passenger.

Interesting..never heard of the NCP...looks like 1994 styling more than 2014.. very utilitarian looking..googled it, the design dates back to '02.  Found this Wikipedia article.

If you look at the FB page referenced in that Wikipedia article you'll see that there is an entire lowering and "stance" fandom about these minivans, so expect there to be some of those down the line, along with the pre-facelift (pre-2014) body style.  This is the first all new "regular" car tooling that Aoshima has done since the 86/BR-Z kits in 2012.

I am actually kind of looking foward to these two , and it up till two days ago, I had no idea these were even a thing,  anyways, according to guys on the Japan model car group, these are really popualr in Japan.

I had never heard of them either.  Looking at pics on the FB page for them, they seem to have a BB/xB-like following...neat little wagons.

Interesting..separate front fenders...so they can later do the earlier pre-MCE version, I assume.
