I need help painting 1/24 figure faces

Hi guys, I need some help. I want to add some figures to a project but I having problems painting the faces to make them look right. I can't get the eyes to look good. Tried painting them & "NOPE" not right. I tried leaving them unpainted & just did the eyebrows but that doesn't seem right either.  Please help.
