NYLIBUD Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Well,it's that day,the sorta end of summer...Hope everyone enjoys your Labor Day,and one of your last gasps of summer weather.They already have Halloween stuff in all the stores for the past week or so.Soon,they'll have Xmas stuff for sale...OMG,No!!!..But it was a pretty decent summer,and for you half glass is full people,there's going to be a lot more heat,and summer weather for at least another month.

waynehulsey Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 I'm still hopin' to squeeze out a few more weeks of summer, as the car show/cruise nights are still going on through the month of Sept.And here in Phoenix we're looking towards October when usually temperatures start being consistently under a 100 and the car shows start back up. I'm looking forward to being able to get out and really do some walking again and heading down to the river preserve. Just can't handle it over 90 anymore. Which is why I used to work 2nd and 3rd shifts and sleep during the early morning and day.
Tom Geiger Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 We had family obligations Saturday and Sunday so we stayed over in New Jersey. Got home last night hoping to spend a relaxing day today in the pool. Nope, my wife woke up with a bug bite that swelled up her whole leg, so we wound up spending most of the day at the ER Center. They gave her an antibiotic and now she's sitting inside.
