Junkman Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Does anyone of you know who built this and whether it ever got finished?
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) B&W photos above are Crucifer, built by Joe Cruces. Color shot below is Crucifer II. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/joe-cruces-post-what-you-know.101979/ Edited October 4, 2017 by Ace-Garageguy
spike morelli Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) Joe Cruces? Could it be the same Joe Cruces who's black Tall "T", ( whose exhausts exited forwards then down ) made many magazine covers back in the sixties? Looking at that first photo, there's two rods in the garage behind the "Crucifier"and the one on the left could be the "T" coupe. I suppose my knowledge of this shows my age, huh? Junkman Posted September 14, 2017 Author Posted September 14, 2017 You are a hero. Thank you so much! Yes, I meanwhile found out that Crucifer actually won a trophy at the 1967 Oakland Roadster Show.
