Mercuryman54 Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 In a previous under glass post of mine a member commented on the blue dot tail lights I had in some of my builds. What I use. If you go to a fabric store and look for a packet/container of blue sequins that are used to sew on dresses. The sequins have a small hole punched in them to attach/sew them to the clothing. The small punched out (blue dots) are in the packet also. I attach them to the tail lights with gloss clear. Better than a tiny dot of blue paint.
Howard Cohen Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I have used small crystals from the craft store that have blue dots.
Ramfins59 Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 My favorites are tiny blue MV lenses found in the train section of a LHS. Just drill a small depression in the center of your red taillight lens and glue in the MV lens.
peteski Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Interesting info - several choices - thanks guys!As for the MV lenses, the small blue ones are often hard to find. I suppose that one could buy the clear ones then use a blue Sharpie to tint them blue.
