would like to use Johans 1930's coupe for a street rod

 

whats a good kit to pull a late model Mercedes engine drivetrain wheels and tires from? Street rod not race or hot tod

Hmmm... the Revell of Germany Mercedes AMG GT or SLS seem like good candidates..making a modern DOHC V8 fit, now that is another story..

there's a revell/tamiya mercedes with a nice v8, the 500sec or the tamiya touring cars. Most of the merc engines will be 1/24 though and are much bigger than the us big block v8s in outside sizing.

The Revell 300SL-24 has a nice engine.  You might look into one of those.

Once saw pics of a 1:1 Model A with an engine out of a 240 Diesel.  Had more power than the flathead 4.  ?
