Bobchayer Posted November 14, 2017 Share Posted November 14, 2017 1927 Ford Model T dump truck, 1/24 scale, manufactured by Tin Lizzie Crafts, Wiscasset, Maine about 1989. Kit consisted of pine wood, plywood, cast metal wheels, radiator, pulleys, steering wheel. Also included were brass and steel wire, cardstock, and brass eyelets. 0.5 Mm styrene was substituted for card stock on the hood, fenders from an ATM glue bomb, flat brass wire for springs. I've cranked one up, empty, it was a little tough so I can't imagine what it would be like full.I saw a Model T wrecker at Auburn once,and it had a hand crank. The ratio was probably 10 to 1. I built this company's Tank truck back in the very early 1990's as a display for a Hobby shop. I never saw another one of these until now .
